Pacifico Lot 121

This was our very first construction project in tropical Costa Rica! We built a beautiful custom home in the famous Pacifico development, located in Playas del Coco (Coco Beach), Guanacaste. We built this home in a Spanish Colonial style with tropical inspiration and some local charm. It has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a ton of open space all on one level, making it easily accessible by all. It features a large open concept kitchen full of custom cabinetry, endless countertop space and a glorious breakfast bar peninsula, as well as a sunken living room with a 17-foot vaulted ceiling and exposed exotic wood beams. The master bedroom shows great detail with a coffered ceiling, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom featuring a roman spa tub that was custom made on site, built right into the turret showing impeccable and breath-taking design.

Pacifico Lot 122

It turns out that our second construction project in Costa Rica is right next door to our first. This project was quite unique, first of its kind in fact within the gates of Pacifico. We built a totally modern, dual master suite villa, perfectly symmetrical so that nobody has to fight over who gets the better room! Each side of the home features a master bedroom with oversize walk-through closet, ensuite bathroom with deep soaker tub / rain shower combination and separate exotic outdoor shower that feels like you are in the rainforest. We designed the master suites to feel like an upscale hotel: coffered ceilings with decorative up-lighting, custom headboard feature walls with integrated electrical, blackout designer curtains, private balconies and separated climate control zones.

Pacifico Lot 126

Lot 126 was the first spec house in Pacifico to sell pre-construction. Happy to have our buyer in place, we had the pleasure of completing this villa with all the material, colour and finish selections carefully chosen by the end users who have been enjoying their dream home ever since. This 3-bedroom contemporary home was laid out to take full advantage of its massive and private building lot. Tucked in the corner at the end of the cul-de-sac just behind our first two properties, Lot 126 is one of the largest on the street. All rooms lead to the back yard, and are built around the pool to create privacy while enjoying the space. The best view of the pool may be from the living room where this time we included an impressive 20-foot-wide glass curtain wall to provide the ultimate indoor/outdoor living experience. Great for entertaining, the common areas of this house offer a variety of seating and gathering areas for guests to enjoy both inside and out on the covered terrace.

Pacifico Lot 130

House number four was much more about construction for us than the creativity of our own design. This project was originally created by Pacifico, the developer itself, but they never ended up getting it off the ground. We purchased this lot, complete with Pacifico’s plans and permit. With a few of our own tweaks, we built out this 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home and completed a sale in 6 months flat. This was a great exercise for our building team, as it turned out to be our fastest project yet. Although it may not look so from the street, the depth of this house makes it as large as our last one, with 2250 square feet inside plus another 800+ on the exterior. A simple, tropical design that is typical for Pacifico and the area, this house was built in a square to give each of its four bedrooms their own private corner.

Pacifico Lot 79

In keeping with our continuous improvement efforts, Lot 79 is our most impressive home yet. With a total of nearly 3800 square feet, you can enjoy the breathtaking ocean view from just about anywhere in the house. Each of the three bedrooms have their own ensuite baths plus either custom built-in cabinetry or walk-in closets. There is also a powder room for the convenience of guests that brings the total to four washrooms. The main floor features a large custom cedar kitchen with tropical Caribbean granite counters that opens right up to the covered terrace with infinity pool. The floating staircase to the second storey is surrounded by glass giving a panoramic view of both mountain and ocean. The second level features both a second master bedroom suite, as well as a fully equipped outdoor kitchen that arguably boasts the best view in this villa.

Mar Vista Lot 17

Lot 17 marks new territory for us in Coco’s neighbouring beach town, Playa Hermosa. Aptly named “Mar Vista” for its Spanish translation, the development offers breathtaking views of the ocean, as can be seen from our latest project on Lot 17. This house features 3 bedrooms, 3 ensuite bathrooms, an extra washroom for guests and 3669’ of luxurious indoor and outdoor living space. It has an attached double car garage, large covered terraces, outdoor kitchen and ocean-view infinity pool with jacuzzi. As we continue to learn from valuable customer feedback, we have taken the best elements from all previous projects and incorporated them here into Mar Vista. The colonial design of this home is a throw back to our very first spec house given its overall shape, lines and curves.
